Underground cable

With the advancement of XLPE underground cables technology and their manufacture in Iran, clients are interested in using this type of cable instead of the old one because of less problems related to repairing and maintaining  than old oil cables.

Underground cables are used in urban areas projects for the following reasons.

• Impossibility to build overhead transmission lines
• Not occupying urban space such as overhead transmission lines
• Not having the right of way
• Reduction of legal cases and costs related to the owners buildings and utilities claims located in the rout of ​​transmission line.
